Business Development Manager for a big FOSS development Project

An exciting opportunity exists for a business development manager required to work on one of the largest Free and Open source development projects in Africa called AVOIR (African Virtual Open Initiatives and Resources http://avoir.uwc.ac.za/). The position is situated within the academic environment and involves 15 African Universities or nodes.

The Obama administration has asked Scott McNealy to submit a paper on  open source.  Mr McNealy says "The government ought to mandate open source products based on open source reference implementations to improve security, get higher quality software, lower costs, higher reliability - all the benefits that come with open software."
